Practice Accounts and Tax Assistant – Full Time (may consider Part Time)
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Due to continued growth in our client base we are looking for a Full Time Accounts and Tax Assistant to join us.
About the Role:
Providing Tax and Accountancy services to local businesses.
Preparation of client accounts including limited companies, partnerships, sole traders. Reconcile bank accounts, sales ledgers, purchase ledgers. Prepare accruals and prepayments. Prepare personal tax and corporation tax computations and returns. Understanding of payroll and VAT processing. Mainly computerised working including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ideally you will have:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Accountancy Practice. Good communication skills. Confident and professional telephone manner. Good time management and organisational skills. Ability to review information in computerised bookkeeping packages. AAT or similar/qualified by experience.
